We are pleased to announce that we have funded the Antwerp Arms Association to provide a hot meal production and delivery operation to serve vulnerable groups of individuals during the COVID 19 lockdown period.

The groups include people with long term ill health, pregnant women, people who live alone or with young children, and people over the age of 70.

We are forecasting the registered number of people will increase as the lockdown continues in the month of April and beyond.

People being supported by the project will be living within the N17 Tottenham postcode area and will be referred to the Association by their project partners:

  1. Community Cook Up
  2. Reach and Connect
  3. Haringey Northumberland ward councillor and
  4. the Church Road Neighbourhood Watch Associations.

The operation is running from the Antwerp Arms Pub on Church Road, Tottenham and the project will be delivered by a team of up to 10 volunteers. Food will be prepared and delivered weekly Thursday.

The Antwerp Arms Association have been awarded £1,520, which will be spent on purchasing food meals packaging cleaning products volunteers PPE petrol utility transportation and volunteers expenses.
