Haringey Giving Champions for Children Appeal extended! Donations are being DOUBLED until 22 June COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds across London. In Haringey, many of our children and young people need your support to thrive and recover from the pandemic, which has impacted on their physical and mental wellbeing, education and attainment and their social and emotional development. Double your impact! £10 = £20 to support children and young people Thanks to our partners, the Childhood Trust, donations raised will be matched between midday on 8th June and midday on 22nd June, up to a total of £10,000. This means your donation could support twice as many children and young people impacted by the pandemic. “Disadvantaged children in London need support now more than ever so we are delighted to be working with Haringey Giving to double all donations made to their appeal. This means that for every pound that people donate - twice the number of children and young people can be supported.” Laurence Guinness, Chief Executive, The Childhood Trust Haringey Giving will use the funds raised to provide small grants of around £1,000 to community groups and charities who are supporting children and young people through the recovery phase of the pandemic. Funds will be distributed through our Together We Can small grants programme and funded projects will enable children and young people to come together to overcome challenges and take action on the things that matter to them. Make a donation Funds raised above the £10,000 target will not be matched by the Childhood Trust, but will still be distributed as small grants for projects supporting children and young people through the Together We Can fund.
