Help us make sure that no child goes hungry this winter

Haringey Giving wants to continue to support low-income families within Haringey where children are experiencing food poverty this winter. We know that many of our local communities and organisations are responding proactively – and we need funding to help target that support best.

Funds raised are being released quickly to local projects which are providing food to children, young people and their families and to schemes which are addressing the causes of food poverty.

Please give generously – funds raised will be used to support children and young people who are unable to access free school meals and to supplement food provision more sustainably over the coming months for low income families.

COVID Community Campaign - Fighting hunger this winter, ending hunger forever

This initiative is part of our wider Haringey COVID-19 Appeal and is part of a co-ordinated local response to food poverty which is aligned with the national COVID Community Campaign. We are working with local statutory and community partners in order to avoid duplication and ensure that a wide reach is achieved across our borough's diverse communities.

You can also donate food items directly to a local foodbank through the Haringey Food Network, which includes food projects supporting people throughout the winter period.

Please share this appeal widely if you can, using the social media buttons on this page. You can sign up to our regular newsletter below in order to receive updates on how donations are being used to support children experiencing food poverty.
