Grants Haringey Digital Divide Fund Apply now to the Haringey Digital Divide Fund for children and young people. Open until Monday 9th August, 10am. The Haringey Digital Divide Fund is funded through the Haringey Digital Divide Appeal. The Appeal was set up in December 2020 by Haringey Giving and Haringey Council to support children and young people in the borough who do not have access to laptops, WiFi and other technological support. It can fund the following digital items and activity for children and young people up to the age of 25 years: Digital devices – including laptops and tablets Internet access Digital skills – including training and workshop sessions. Who can apply? We accept applications from organisations and community groups: Running projects and programmes for children and young people including over the summer holiday period and /or Who are working with children and young people or their families, where a need for digital support has been identified. How much funding can I apply for? Grants of up to £1,500 are being awarded through this fund. Applications for a greater amount will be considered if reaching a large number of beneficiaries. Supporting documents If your grant application is successful, we will request a copy of the following documents: your constitution or governing document, if you have one a recent bank account dated within the last 3 months- If you do not have a bank account please let us know if you are able to work with a larger organisation who would be prepared to manage your funds if your application is successful. your most recent annual accounts or summary of income and expenditure for the last financial year your Safeguarding Policy if your project is working with children or vulnerable adults. Key dates Monday 9th August at 10am is the deadline for applications. Week beginning Monday 16th August: Successful applicants informed and funding transferred (subject to receipt of requested paperwork).
