Urgent help STILL NEEDED for our most vulnerable people and community initiatives

The COVID-19 epidemic continues to have a massive impact on all our lives. This is much, much worse for the many vulnerable people living in Haringey, such as people who are: living on low incomes, homeless, unsafe at home, older and isolated, refugees and migrants and people experiencing mental ill-health.

Local charities and community organisations are still trying to meet the huge surge in demand for their help. Many have no choice but to close vital services; others are changing the way they provide front line support in order to prevent infection.

People and organisations across Haringey are continuing to make amazing efforts, working together to support the most vulnerable people across our communities.

The needs of Haringey's many vulnerable people are much greater than our funds can support

We have funded 23 vital community projects already, with over £100,000 of generous public and corporate donations.

Our Together We Can COVID-19 Fund has been hugely oversubscribed with £60,000 of vital projects still needing funding and we would like to re-open soon and support more projects reaching our most vulnerable people.
