We’re delighted that six Haringey organisations have successfully applied to be a part of our Changing Lives Fund pilot programme, funded by Linklaters.

Each of the organisations have been awarded £2,875 to allocate micro-grants to people experiencing disadvantage who access their services. The micro-grants of between £10 - £500 will be used to enable individuals to make a positive step change in their lives.

The funding is designed to be flexible, led by the individual and used to help overcome challenges they face. For example, it may be used to fund a range of activities including a training course, a counselling session, business start-up support, child-care or travel to attend an interview.

This first round of the grant programme is designed as a test and learn phase, and we very much look forward to working with the following six organisations over the next two years to develop this approach further:

Breadline London

CARIS Haringey

Causeway Irish Housing Association

Haringey Shed

HR Sports Academy

RISE Projects
