We raise money from a range of sources and distribute this through our grants funding. We pride ourselves on our light touch and accessible funding. We only ask questions that we need to know and that are proportionate to the size and nature of community groups and organisations that we aim to reach. We often act as a stepping-stone funder for groups and organisations which are early on their journey, which enables them to develop their track record and fundraising know-how.
The fund enables individuals on low incomes to take action and make transitions or transformative changes towards a goal or ambition that responds to their individual needs. It does this through micro grants which are delivered by trusted community and voluntary organisations, who act as our Delivery Partners.
The fund enables groups of people from across Haringey’s diverse communities to come together to make improvements and address shared challenges. We will fund applications for time-limited activities and projects which address at least one of our three priority areas.

The second round of the Alleviate fund will support Haringey based community and voluntary groups and organisations to deliver early help activities across four priority areas. The fund is administered and managed by Haringey Giving on behalf of Haringey Council’s Early Help Service.
