We are thrilled that our Chair's dedication to the Haringey community was recognised with a British Empire Medal (Civil Division) which was awarded to Helen Rayfield on 12 April 2024 in London. 

Helen has lived in Haringey for most of her life and is passionate about improving the lives of Haringey residents and solving issues in Haringey community which she has been committed to for years. 

As Chair of Haringey Rhinos rugby club, she has spent over 10 years working with local partners to develop grassroots sport in the borough. She is also a trustee of the Haringey Sports Development Trust.

Helen is a freelance bid consultant and over the years, has worked across local and central government in a wide range of sectors. Her expertise includes grant funding, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, impact reporting and governance.
