The second round of this Fund has now closed for applications.

Overview

The purpose of this fund is to support the most vulnerable people living in the borough of Haringey, and charities, social enterprises and not for profit organisations and groups based in Haringey that have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

This funding has been made possible thanks to generous donations from the public and our funding partners; The National Lottery Community Fund, Linklaters, LHC Community Benefit Fund and Two Magpies Fund.

Applicants can apply for a grant of up to £5,000, or in exceptional circumstances, up to £10,000. Both constituted and unconstituted not-for-profit groups are eligible to apply as well as locally based businesses looking to run a not-for-profit initiative to support the community during this time.

We welcome applications that respond to Haringey Giving’s three main priorities, which are:

  • Children and young people with reference to community safety, knife and gun crime.
  • Mental health including people experiencing social isolation
  • Skills and enterprise with reference to people living in Haringey who are refugees or from migrant communities.

We are also keen to support projects that address some of the medium to long-term effects of the COVID-19 crisis on:

  • Educational attainment
  • Employability

We particularly encourage applications from organisations led by Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) individuals, and from projects working with:

  • BAMER groups
  • LGBTQI+ residents
  • Disabled residents
  • Individuals affected by domestic violence.
Many thanks to our kind donors and our funding partners:
